A vibrant hotel group across Australia and NZ, we were approached by Rydges to refresh their uniforms as part of their brand evolution.
As the brand looked to the future, it was important that the Rydges uniform complimented their commitment to guest experience, starting with their most valued asset: their people.
Collaborating closely with the Rydges team, our goal was to deliver a new element of authenticity to the guest experience. It was essential that the uniforms were dynamic in their design to reflect Rydges’ warm hospitality, thoughtful details, reliable value and a signature service that goes the extra mile.
The new Rydges uniform carefully considered colour palette, style, comfort and flexibility to ensure the entire team felt proud of their uniform and the brand they represent.
The Rydges brief required a modern and flexible staff uniform across five job functions:
- Front of House
- Food & Beverage
- House Keeping
- Maintenance
- Management
From hello to goodbye, every detail was considered when curating the Rydges Front of House uniform. Centred on a ‘build your own’ look concept, the uniform consists of an expertly curated mix of pieces that combine classic cuts with modern detailing. Staff can mix and match their look and even add a personal touch with a range of accessories that complement the Rydges colour palette.
Range includes Taylor Suiting in Black & Taylor Separates in Black, Smith Oxford Shirt in White, Riviera ¾ Vanilla & Black, Crew Knit Black and Todd Chino Camel.

Range includes Riviera Tee in Black & White, Deluxe Canvas Waist Apron in Forest, Todd Chino Black, Crew Knit in Black & the Crew Cardigan in Black.
Behind the scenes, the Maintenance Team keeps the Rydges engine running like a dream. From fixes to fit-outs, and everything in between, the maintenance uniform features durable pieces fit for purpose. The result is a smart look that works hard.
Range includes Banjo Work Shirt in Charcoal, Bomber Jacket in Black, and Todd Chino Black.
At Rydges, it’s all about the small, thoughtful details, and this is reflected in the Rydges accessory range. Think premium enamel pins and the glimpse of a pocket square, expertly folded in a smart black jacket. The accessory collection also includes an elegant scarf, which can be worn as a neck scarf or hair accessory, as well as a branded hair ribbon in Forest Green, encouraging the team to style their look, their way.
Accessories are all custom designed and manufactured for Rydges by Cargo Crew.
